The excellent products produced in the Jato Valley of San Giuseppe rarely reach the United States so when a good friend of the Lovera's brought this specialty in, we thought it would be wonderful treat to share with you. Warm daytime temperatures and bright, high altitude sunlight combine with chilly evenings to produce an olive oil of exceptional quality. Cerasuola olives are blended with small amounts of biancolilla and nocellara del belice olives to produce a very fine oil with a buttery mellowness that bursts with the fresh flavor of just-crushed olives.
