'Nunez del Prado' Flor de Aceite Olive Oil Glass by La Tienda Review


This celebrated cold pressed olive oil has been produced in Andalucía since 1793, at the same time as George Washington was president! Francisco and Andrés Núñez de Prado are the seventh generation at the family estate in Baena, Córdoba. Their premier extra virgin olive oil is a blend of three varieties of olives - picudo with its fresh aroma, picual for long shelf life and stability, and the sweet, smooth hojiblanca. This coveted oil is completely hand crafted and extracted from the first crush when the olives are ground to a paste between granite rollers. Unlike the usual first cold pressing, this paste is neither centrifuged nor pressed. This Flor del Aceite 'Flower of the Oil' is solely the oil that flows naturally out of the olives during the grinding process.
